This album was released in 2005, but didn't hit the US until 2007. I discovered it on Yahoo music and fell in love with it. It really takes me back to earlier sounds. The band I immediately thought of was The Weekend, but I've read where others compare them to early Everything But the Girl, another favorite of mine. The beauty of this album is that they have the same experimental jazz, minimalist sound, but with all the pop sensibility that those albums are missing. In one swoop this small band out of Jakarta accomplished what no one in the 80s trying to create this sound could do.
