I was torn as to whether or not to count this album since it is a collection of artists. But from what I can gather it is all original work done for this movie and so I thought I would include it. It is a fun album, but still a soundtrack. Soundtracks like this have a sort of disconnected feel to them because it doesn't have that consistency you get with a single artist. It would be fun to put on while cleaning up the house on a rainy Saturday, but not really in the same league as albums like
Catch a Fire or
Funky Kingston.
